On Saturday, May 19, 2012, the New York Chapter of The
Queen's College (QC) of Guyana Alumni Association will celebrate the 21st
Anniversary of its founding with a Formal Ball and Presentation Ceremony at the
Astoria World Manor in Queens, New York, from 8:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. The Guest
Speaker for the occasion will be the Honorable Justice Kenneth Benjamin, Chief
Justice of Belize and QC Alumnus (1965-1972). Three outstanding alumni
-- Dr. Vibert Cambridge, Dr. Maya Trotz and Dr. Vivian Rambihar -- will be
honored at the Ball, and the Chapter's founding members will be recognized for
their foresight in forming the Association. The price of admission to
the event will be $90 for what promises to be an evening of entertainment and
nostalgia as we rekindle the bonds that continue to hold us together as alumni
of our alma mater.
This site is maintained by the New York Chapter of the Queen's College of Guyana Alumni Association, in recognition and appreciation for all that it took to bring us here today. Our alma mater has a strong tradition of which we are fiercely proud, and which we will zealously guard.
